BUYER AGENCY
When you are serious about buying a home, do you want someone to help
you with that important decision? A REALTOR, a member of your local
real estate board, is a trained professional who can offer you
various services depending on wh at YOU want. If you prefer that
REALTOR to work with you as a "customer", you will receive that level
of service, althought the REALTOR will be representing the best
interests of the Sellers.
If you prefer to have the full services that come with being a client,
your REALTOR will act in your best interests. Your REALTOR is required
by his or her Code of Ethics to have a Buyer Agency Agreement signed
that will set out the terms of your arrangements. Your REALTOR and
you will agree to the terms of that Agreement in the early stages
of your search for your home.
